New year, healthier you, out with the meat and in with green, as Jumeirah Restaurants reveal an array of vegan menus across its award-winning culinary portfolio

 

Veganuary is here, and Jumeirah is spreading hearty plant-based joy and flavour across the city. The much-loved dining venues are serving a host of dishes with a vegan twist that will surely delight all.

 

Whether you follow a vegan diet year-round or you simply want to treat yourself to a tasty plant-based meal, experience Veganuary and discover clean eating with Jumeirah’s restaurants. Here is everything you need to know on what Jumeirah Group has planned:

Flow – Jumeirah Emirates Towers & Dubai Internet City

Dedicated to crafting and sourcing healthy, natural, feel-good products to fuel and energize, Flow, Dubai’s healthy-eating and creative hub, is serving healthy and nutritional vegan dishes and snacks for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Available exclusively until February 28, Flow’s vegan specials include breakfast items like Vegan Breakfast which includes Tofu, Vegan Sausage, Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, Mexican Baked Beans and served with Whole Wheat Flat Bread Crisps. Guests can also indulge in Homemade BBQ Glazed Cauliflower Wings with Sesame Slaw and Spanish A La Parrilla Vegetables with Sundried Tomatoes and Olives Tossed in Tuscan Pesto. For lunch and dinner, options include Chili Con Carne with Coriander Rice and Roasted Cauliflower Vegetable Curry with Palak Rice and Toasted Cashews. For a sweet treat, choose from a selection of mouth-watering desserts including Apple Spiced Cinnamon Cake with Toffee Sauce and Mixed Berry Coconut Chia Pudding with Maple Pecan Crumble.

Dedicated to providing healthy and nutritional dishes and snacks, residents can also enjoy their vegan meal plan. The meal plans consist of three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and two additional snacks per day, delivered to the door each morning between 6:00AM – 8:00AM. Packages for one week are available at AED 699 for seven days and AED 499 for five days. Also available are two monthly packages - 30 days or 22 days to cover the working week.

Pai Thai – Jumeirah Al Qasr

Pai Thai, the much-loved Dubai dining destination nestled within the lush gardens of Jumeirah Al Qasr, is inviting guests to indulge in a delicious mix of light, aromatic and invigorating plant-based menu.

Highlight starters guests can opt for include Green Papaya Salad with Tamarind Dressing, Crispy Tofu Skewers, Deep-Fried Vegetable Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce and Tangy Vegetable Soup. Mains include Green or Red Vegetable Curry, Vegetable Thai Noodles and Wok Fried Tofu. For the sweet toothed, end it with the delicious Sweet Sticky Rice topped with Ripe Mango, Coconut Syrup and Sesame Seeds.

The Vegan Edition of Pai Thai’s Five Tastes of Thailand

The Five Tastes of Thailand offers guests a vegan edition of their flavourful five-course vegetarian set menu. Diners can delight in the five flavours found in Thai food: bitter, salty, spicy, sour and sweet.

The Duck Hook – Dubai Hills Golf Club

Located in the heart of Dubai Hills Golf Club, the characterful country pub and garden, The Duck Hook, promises a menu that is a show-stopper and with plenty of options that will surely satisfy your taste buds.

For starters, guests can indulge in the Vegan Scotch Egg or Vegan Tacos topped with Vegan Cheese. Mains include the Don Buri Bowl made of Stir-Fried Vegetables and Crispy Tofu and Vegan Cottage Pie with Green Beans and Shallots. Vegans with a sweet tooth can enjoy the likes of Poached Pears with Mulled Wine Sorbet and Pina Colada featuring Caramelized Pineapple, Mango and Coconut Sorbet.

Trattoria – Madinat Jumeirah

The authentic and much-loved Italian eatery nestled alongside the idyllic waterways of Souk Madinat Jumeirah is offering diners a rustic Italian and vegan experience.

The exclusive Veganuary menu boats a myriad of artisanal flavours with highlights including Bruschetta Al Pomodoro, Quinoa with Seasonal Vegetables and Cucumber Gazpacho, Spaghetto Di Gragnano with Zucchini Sauce and Pizza Vegetariana. The hearty selection is further complimented by the delicious desserts including Coconut Panna Cotta and Saffron Pineapple Carpaccio and Lemon Sorbet.

The Noodle House – Madinat Jumeirah, Nakheel Mall and JBR

The Noodle House is serving tempting, authentic Asian-inspired and vegan street food with the ultimate Veganuary menu that features Mushroom Steam Buns, Cabbage & Sweet Potato Pancakes, Chinese Dan Dan Noodle with Shimenji Mushroom and Miso Glazed Eggplant. For desserts, you can never go wrong with Chocolate & Coconut Brittle with Yuzu Caramelized Oranges or a Thai Mango Sticky Rice.

Dubai’s original café is offering an authentic Pan-Arabic feast with a Veganuary menu.

For starters, guests can choose from an Eggplant Moussaka to Caramelized Pumpkin. Mains include Tender Soy Kebabs, and Moroccan-spiced Vegetable Tagine with Couscous. Dessert options include Homemade Vegan Turkish Delights and Roasted Pear Brûlée.
