The Fairmont Hotel Ajman Review

Despite being an almost 40 minutes’ drive from Dubai, The Fairmont Hotel Ajman is incredibly easy to get to. It’s also one of the most instantly recognisable landmarks in  Ajman so if you do manage to get yourself lost, pretty much anyone you stop to ask will be able to direct you.

From check-in to dining, staff are helpful and conversational throughout – swapping rooms, recommending dishes and putting together complicated drinks orders without faltering once.

If you want to stay in the area in style, The Fairmont Hotel Ajman is the way to do it. Positioned on the hotel’s higher floors, each has uninterrupted sea views, free Wi-Fi, plus access to the restaurants.

The Fairmont Hotel Ajman is home to what was, at one point. In our book, its most important attribute is the large swim-up bar, providing refreshments and refuge from the sun. There’s also a spa, and a kids’ club.

Managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, this 5 star property is a venture of the private office of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. This is the second Fairmont property owned by HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Bkhalifa Al Nahyan in the United Arab Emirates, the first is Fairmont Dubai which opened in 2002.

As one of the smallest of the seven Emirates, Ajman is a city steeped in Arabian charm and cultural history but embraces modern architecture and facilities. With stunning natural surroundings and pristine white beaches, Ajman is becoming a must-visit destination.

Fairmont Ajman is ideally located on the Corniche shoreline, 25 km from Dubai International Airport. The hotel is minutes away from the 18th century Ajman National Museum which represents one of the main tourist attractions in the city, as well as the myriad of traditional souks for jewellery, elegant abayas, traditional lamps and carpets. A short distance away is some of the city’s best shopping malls with a choice of over 20 catering for high street and designer shoppers

Offering an innovative dining portfolio for international guests and the local community, Fairmont Ajman boasts an eclectic range of eight restaurants and lounges. Spectrum is our international dining restaurant and is central to the hotel’s restaurants’ options. Gioia is an interactive theatre of Italian themed à la carte restaurant where guests are offered the opportunity to enjoy the drama and engagement with each chef at work.
The Ottoman style imperial dining at Kiyi, the Turkish restaurant on the lobby level invites guests on a culinary trip to the flavours, colours and aromas of historical Turkey, with dishes derived from the traditions of The Topkapi Sultans Palace in Istanbul - perfect for family style sharing

The hotel’s Sunset Lounge, Badr is overlooking the sea and takes guests on a journey with the finest tastes of gourmet Shisha flavours, or Salt & Sea our swim up pool bar with light refreshments.
