The Fairmont Hotel Ajman Review

Despite being an almost 40 minutes’ drive from Dubai, The Fairmont Hotel Ajman is incredibly easy to get to. It’s also one of the most instantly recognisable landmarks in  Ajman so if you do manage to get yourself lost, pretty much anyone you stop to ask will be able to direct you. From check-in to dining, staff are helpful and conversational throughout – swapping rooms, recommending dishes and putting together complicated drinks orders without faltering once. If you want to stay in the area in style, The Fairmont Hotel Ajman is the way to do it. Positioned on the hotel’s higher floors, each has uninterrupted sea views, free Wi-Fi, plus access to the restaurants. The Fairmont Hotel Ajman is home to what was, at one point. In our book, its most important attribute is the large swim-up bar, providing refreshments and refuge from the sun. There’s also a spa, and a kids’ club. Managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, this 5 star property is a venture of the priv

The Fairmont Hotel Fujairah Review

The Fairmont Hotel Fujairah is at the Indian Ocean, and has the look of a resort hotel about it. The huge brown building is bigger than the other hotels on the same stretch and is noticeably older.  This is a striking structure, albeit without the bells and whistles of newer resorts in the UAE. On the seaside there is a fantastic garden area and a pretty white beach (it’s one of our favourites in the country). There are some very friendly people working at the Fairmont Hotel Fujairah, service at the bars and restaurants is very personable and the staff in the lobby make check-in and check-out a smooth, painless process. The rooms are spacious and come with a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean.  There is free Wi-Fi and the spacious bathrooms are stocked with good toiletries. The hotel really shines when it comes to the bars and restaurants. They are all different from each other, relaxed and can get quite lively. This looks like a place to unwind

LADURÉE DEBUTS NEW LOOK

Dubai Mall has always been a popular place for all things, and LADURÉE fits right in here. The concept is simple –everything served is made fresh daily and without additives, chemicals. Inside Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall sits LADURÉE, an open-plan café that leans heavily on plush furniture and snappy waiter uniforms to enforce its ‘we’re so fashion’ message. Although one would be inclined to assume a venue like this is rather pretentious, the food on offer and the level of service begs to differ  Last night, Ladurée, the French tearoom and patisserie, revealed its new decor and menu at its original Dubai Mall branch, which is soon to mark its 9th birthday. Coinciding with a visit from global president David Holder, Ladurée hosted a special event with media and bloggers to showcase its modern new décor and locally-inspired savoury menu. Hoping to bring Ladurée to a new generation whilst also staying true to the brands values, the aim of the refur
